Full Contact client Amadou Bakayoko has today signed a new, long-term contract at League One club Walsall.
Amadou, 20, has this season made the transition from a Walsall academy striker – who enjoyed non-league loans out at Southport, Telford and Worcester City – to a key member of Jon Whitney’s first-team squad. After scoring five goals in all competitions, including Amadou’s first Football League goal, a new deal has today been concluded which extends his stay at the Bescot Stadium until the summer of 2018.
