Full Contact client Freddie Ladapo scored his first Football League goal this weekend, on-loan for League One club Oldham Athletic.
The 23 year old Crystal Palace striker – who was as recently as March still plying his trade in non-league football (at National League South club Margate) – scored a vital 65th minute equaliser for the Latics, and his side would go on to win the game 2-1 away from home.
It was apt that Freddie’s first League goal might come in Kent, close to where his superb form caught the eye of the Premier League scouts – and we hope this goal is the first of many. The nature of the goal – with Freddie using his strength to turn his marker – was so reminiscent of many that Grays and Margate fans came to enjoy over recent seasons.
