Full Contact client Kelle Roos has today joined League One club Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan.
Derby County keeper Kelle, 24, ended last season on a high as 20 appearances out on loan at League Two club AFC Wimbledon ended in a glorious day at Wembley – a clean-sheet assisting his then loan club to secure promotion to League One. And it is to that division that Kelle now returns, joining Darrell Clarke’s Bristol Rovers.
Kelle has also put pen to paper on a new, extended contract at Derby County – which now runs to the summer of 2019 – as new manager Nigel Pearson shows his faith in Kelle’s long-term potential. After stunning performances in League Two, Kelle will now look to repeat his heroics in League One.
All at Full Contact wish Bristol Rovers and Kelle the very best for the coming season.
