Full Contact client Che Adams quickly followed up his professional debut (earlier in the week against Southampton, as a substitute in the League Cup) with his Football League debut.
Despite not yet making a Football League appearance as a substitute for Sheffield United, Nigel Clough had seen enough against Southampton to give Che a starting position in the League One encounter against Walsall yesterday. Che played 86 minutes in the 1-1 draw and did not look out of place in front of another large Bramall Lane crowd – and perhaps was unfortunate to not be awarded a decisive penalty for the Blades.
Given only six weeks or so earlier Che was playing for Ilkeston FC, all at Full Contact are delighted with the rapid progress Che has made since turning professional – above and beyond all expectations.
We wish Che and Sheffield United all the best for the forthcoming festive fixtures.
