Full Contact client Ollie Banks followed up his recent Football League and FA Cup debuts for Chesterfield this week by netting his first three goals for the Spireites.
First up, pitted against Rochdale in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Northern Area quarter-final last Tuesday, Banks headed the first and sealed victory with a close-range finish to secure a 3-0 win. Sandwiched in between Banks’ brace was another goal for Full Contact’s Armand Gnanduillet, completing an excellent night for both clients.
That night Ollie Banks picked up his second successive man of the match award at the Proact Stadium, and he then took the impressive form he has shown in these last two cup games in to the Football League. On Saturday, away to Torquay, Ollie scored his first league goal for Chesterfield, the opener in a 2-0 victory. To view the goal, click here.
Playing the last two fixtures in an advanced midfield role behind an ever dangerous Gnanduillet, the signs of a promising partnership are emerging between the Full Contact pair.
Congratulations to Ollie on his first goals for his new club; there will be more to come!
