Full Contact client Jordan Wynter has scored his first professional goal for his new club Bristol City.
Following on from his professional and league debut last Saturday, an accomplished display in a 2-2 draw with Bradford City, last night saw the first round of the Captial One Cup. A tricky away tie at Gillingham did not pose any problems for Bristol City, who came away with a comfortable 2-0 victory. After taking a first half lead through Sam Baldock, Jordan Wynter started the move which he then finished too and in doing so scored his first professional goal. The 19 year old midfielder has not been renowned for goalscoring during his Arsenal youth career, so to net so early in his career for Bristol City is a major bonus. Most importantly, however, to have started the first two games of the seasons is a measure of the impression he has already made at Ashton Gate.
