Full Contact client Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, the versatile Sheffield Wednesday player, has today accepted his first professional contract offer from the Championship club.
Manny has starred in his recent performances leading up to Wednesday’s offer of a pro contract, including scoring both goals in a 2-1 away win at Wigan Athletic in the Under-21 league. Whilst Manny has been deployed in defensive and midfield positions throughout his junior career, of late he has been demonstrating prowess as a forward player too.
Lee Payne, head of Full Contact’s Football Agency, commented “Manny is a real prospect, and he has all the physical and mental attributes needed to make it as a top professional. It is no surprise that Sheffield Wednesday wanted to retain Manny as a pro, and he is at a good club who have a history of blooding youngsters; I would hope that next season Manny pushes on and starts knocking on the door of the first team.”
All at Full Contact wish Manny well for the 2013-2014 season, his first as a professional footballer.
