Full Contact are delighted to announce their first formal foray in to Brazilian football.   Following the recent announcement of the appointment of ex-Newcastle United’s Mirandinha, we can confirm that two pioneer Brazilian players have joined the Full Contact stable.

Lee Payne, head of our Football Agency team, has an extensive background in Brazilian football, is fluent in Portuguese and has worked with players such as Romulo, Rodrigo and Radames to name but a few.  Given that background, Full Contact’s resident immigration and legal experience, the appointment of Mirandinha and of course the incredible array of talent to be found within the nation Full Contact will be striving to bring to the UK, the EU and Asia some of the best young players.

The first player on board is Sergio Mota Mello, known as Sergio Mota.  Lee identified the midfielder Sergio playing at the legendary Sao Paulo club but to really kickstart his career assisted in his loan move to the state of Ceara club Icasa. Sergio, now 22 years old, is currently on loan at Santo Andrebut remains contracted to parent club Sao Paulo. For footage of Sergio in action see:-

The second exciting player is Romario Lucas Menezes de Araujo, known by his fans as Romarinho.   The “little Romario” is just that; an extremely talented, diminutive attacking player who has a huge future ahead of him. Lee first saw Romarinho playing as a 15 year old youth player at Fortaleza,  and now aged 18 Romarinho remains at Fortaleza and is breaking through into their first team. Dan Chapman, senior partner of Full Contact commented that “We are now a little over three months in to the Football Agency team’s brief history, and from inception it was always a key part of our vision to make use of Lee’s history and contacts in Brazil.  That we are able to do so this soon, and engage with players of this calibre and future potential,  is hugely exciting. It is projects such as this where our combination of footballing know how and immigration and legal expertise, and passion for talent and the sport, see Full Contact stand out from the crowd.”
