Oscar Brennan joined Full Contact's Irish stable of players in May 2017, shortly after impressing our Head of Football Lee Payne in a live Bohemians fixture in Dublin.
Oscar, a combative, intelligent midfielder with good defensive technique, played for Bray Wanderers as a youngster before a short spell at UCD led to him signing for Irish First Division club Cabinteely. It was at Cabinteely where he made his senior debut, appearing in March 2016 against Athlone Town. An impressive first season in senior football saw Oscar start 26 League games which caught the eye of Bohemians - who swooped to sign him for the 2017 season.
Making the step up to the Irish Premier Division did not prove problematic - Oscar started the first game of the season and soon became an established player. He scored his first Bohemians goal on the 28th April against Finn Harps.
