Harvey Hodd broke in to the game as a 15 year old player at Lowestoft Town, making the first team as soon as the rules allowed (when he turned 16). After just one game shortly after his birthday he caught the eye of Norwich City, and would go on to sign a two year scholarship with the then Premier League club.

In Harvey's first year as a scholar he was a regular starter for a successful Under 18 side, and ended the season as a playing substitute in the victorious FA Youth Cup winning side (beating Chelsea in the final).
In Harvey's second year he was moved up to the Under 21 squad and made numerous starting appearances in the Under 21 Premier League.

A stylish central midfielder with a great work-rate it was a real surprise when Norwich City did not offer Harvey a professional contract. Whilst searching for the right opportunity to win a professional contract, Harvey returned to his roots - playing again for Lowestoft Town in the Conference North division.

It was inevitable that a player of Harvey's natural ability - and with such a great attitude - would turn professional, which duly happened on 5th December 2014 when he joined ambitious League One club Fleetwood Town. After impressive performances for Fleetwood's development side - including goals against the likes of Burnley and Liverpool - Fleetwood extended his contract to run until the summer of 2016.

On the 26th November 2015 Harvey joined former club Lowestoft Town on a month's loan and impressed on his debut two days later, against St Albans. The games came think and fast, and Harvey scored his first goal on the 2nd January 2016 in his seventh appearance for the Trawlerboys. Unfortunate to still not be given a senior opportunity back at Fleetwood, in the summer of 2016 Harvey returned to non-league in order to gain more first-team experience - this time joining National League South club Concord Rangers. After six starts for Concord, the travelling and financial difficulties prompted Lowestoft to swoop, persuading Harvey to re-sign for the club for the fourth occasion!
