George Carline

Solihull Moors

George Carline was a latecomer to football starting his playing career in earnest for Cadbury Athletic in 2013/14, bagging 30 goals in a double-winning season that saw the Bournville outfit lift both the Midland Football League Division One title and the Saturday Vase Trophy.

George is a big, strong, box-to-box midfielder who offers an all-round attacking threat and scores goals and he is particularly potent in the air.

For the 2014/15 season, George joined Redditch in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier under then manage Liam McDonald and he quickly become a regular fixture - going on to named the Reds’ Player of the Season. At the end of the season George was gaining substantial interest from teams in the National League but chose to move to Hednesford to link up again with McDonald. After a hugely impressive start to the season at Hednesford - including 10 League goals, one of which became a YouTube sensation due to the Rabona assist from team-mate and fellow Full Contact client Cohen Bramall - George was to team up with McDonald for a third time when in November 2016 he transferred to National League club Solihull Moors. George was McDonald's second signing after himself making the step up to the National League.

George made his National League debut on 26th November 2016 at home to North Ferriby and has remained an ever present since; scoring his first goal on 28th January 2017 against Maidstone and then scoring an equaliser against Braintree on 11th March to salvage a point.
