Emmanuel Dieseruvwe

Kidderminster Harriers

Emmanuel, better known as Mani, is a powerful but skillful player who came through the Sheffield Wednesday Academy.

Signing his first professional contract at the Owls in the summer of 2013, this was then extended to the end of the 2014/2015 season. Mani enjoyed loan spells in the 2013/2014 season at Conference Premier side Hyde and then League Two's Fleetwood Town, making his Football League debut on 2nd November 2013.

Whilst for much of his academy career Mani had played as a midfielder, in recent years he has developed into a tall, physical striker who can play either the no.9 or a deeper role. During the 2014/2015 season his performances for Sheffield Wednesday Under 21's became increasingly impressive as Mani added regular goals to his all round effective play - 5 goals in 4 games consecutively against Chesterfield, Huddersfield, Birmingham and Coventry particularly stood out.

On the 3rd January 2015 Mani joined League One club Chesterfield on a month's loan and on the 17th January he made his first League One appearance, coming on as a substitute away to Swindon Town.

On transfer deadline day, Chesterfield agreed terms with Sheffield Wednesday to secure Mani's services on a permanent basis - he put pen to paper on a contract running until June 2016. After making ten substitute appearances in League One, Mani's first goal for Chesterfield arrived on the 11th August in the League Cup fixture away to Carlisle.

Mani finally made his full Football League debut for Chesterfield (and indeed his first Football League start at any level after 16 substitute appearances for firstly Fleetwood and then the Spireites) on the 3rd October 2015, starting away to Crewe and impressing in a 2-1 victory.

On the 16th March 2016, Mani joined League Two club Mansfield Town on loan and he started for them against Portsmouth on the 19th - assisting a goal and playing well in a 1-1 draw. His first goal for the Stags (and indeed his first Football League goal) came on 23rd April 2016 against Barnet.

In the summer of 2016, Mani opted to sign for ambitious full-time National League North club Kidderminster Harriers.
