Nigerian

Dan, who moved to England from Nigeria aged 9 years old, joined Ilkeston in the summer of 2015 aged just 18 but already boasting a wealth of senior non-league experience after previous spells as a youngster at Worcester City, Wingate & Finchley and Grays Athletic. Dan has already represented Nigeria at youth international level.

A physical striker with pace and power, Dan chose to join Ilkeston in order to benefit from the full-time system at the club and follow in the footsteps of many of that club's players who have then moved up to the Football League. As the season progressed, Dan's game got better and better and on the 21st March 2016 his dream came true - he completed a transfer to League One club Crewe Alexandra, putting pen to paper on a professional contract that runs until the summer of 2018.

Remarkably, only 7 days after joining Crewe, Dan entered the field of play as a substitute against Bradford City in the 70th minute - making his rapid professional debut. Dan did not have to wait too long either for his first League start, which arrived on the 9th April against Port Vale. Dan's first professional came early in to the 2016/2017 season, on the 30th August (his birthday!), away to Accrington Stanley.
