Christian Dibble

Boston United

Goalkeeper Christian Dibble, son of former Manchester City goalkeeper Andy Dibble, began his career at Bury before joining League One club Barnsley in July 2013.

Christian has appeared for Wales at junior and Under 19 level.

After a number of appearances in League One as an unused substitute, Christian joined Conference Premier side Nuneaton Town on loan in late November 2014. He made his debut on 29th November 2014, winning the man of the match award in a home win against Chester. Christian performed well in 5 games for Nuneaton before Barnsley re-called him on the 22nd December.

In search of more first-team experience Christian was out on loan again in August 2015, this time to National League South club Chelmsford City. The Clarets won their first two games with Christian in goal, keeping a clean-sheet in the second fixture away to Maidstone - and before returning to his parent club, Christian had played in 18 games in all.

On the 12th February 2016, Christian left Barnsley by mutual consent seeking more senior games and signed a permanent contract until the end of the season back at Chelmsford. In all, across the two spells, Christian would play 28 League games for the Clarets.

In late June 2016, Christian signed for National League North club Boston United for the coming season.
