Brady Hickey

Brady Hickey made his name as an amateur footballer playing for non-league side St Andrews (joining them at age 10) alongside fellow Full Contact client Che Adams. At St Andrews, Brady progressed through their youth ranks and was always a prolific goalscorer from midfield and once he made first team level he made an immediate impression; such that in the 2013/14 season he was a key player in a momentous FA Vase run that led to a semi-final defeat over two legs against West Auckland. Brady scored in the second-leg in front of a record St Andrews crowd of 2016.

Brady has played for England U-18 Schoolboys, and so it was perhaps no surprise when April 2015 he made the leap from step 6 to step 3, joining Barwell in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League. His progress was rapid, with Brady winning a man of the match award on debut, and ensuring he became a regular starter by the time the 15/16 season came around.

During a successful 15/16 season, Brady appeared an incredible 57 times for Barwell in all competitions (so many appearances aided by a long FA Cup run) and scored 15 goals, assisting 13 more. These goals included a long distance wonder goal on the 20th October against Grantham that would grace any level of football and the historic winner against Rushden & Diamonds that saw his side progress to the 1st round of the FA Cup proper for the first time in their history. Brady was awarded Barwell's Young Player of the Year award for 2015/16.

Brady started the 16/17 season in similar fine fashion - scoring another 8 goals by early October and surpassing last season's total of 15 goals by the beginning of February 2017! A hat-trick on 11th March took Brady's tally to 22 for the season to date and his final tally for the year rested at 23 goals.

On 19th June, Brady signed for full-time National League North client Nuneaton.
