Full Contact client James Hardy has been called up by England C for the first time – and is set to face Estonia away on November 15th.
Glittering form for National League North leaders AFC Fylde has seen the 20 year old catch the eye of the England selectors, and is just reward for the dedication and determination shown by James since he left Manchester City as a 18 year old and opted to fight back to the professional game via non-league.
James is one of only two players from outside the National League to be selected in Paul Fairclough’s squad and follows former England C players on Full Contact’s books – Mickey Demetriou, Che Adams and Dayle Southwell – all of whom were to make the move to the Football League soon after England C call-ups.
We wish James all the very best once he joins up with his new international team-mates.
