Full Contact client Alex Fisher has scored his first goal in Scottish Premiership football – and it could not have been much bigger! Alex scored a late equalizer to earn Inverness Caledonian Thistle a superb 2-2 draw against Scottish giants Celtic.
The goal was just reward for Alex’s patience and perseverance after an unfortunate run of injuries since he returned to the UK two summers ago. Spells at Mansfield, Torquay and then Inverness last season were blighted but having recently returned to full fitness Alex has now made five appearances in the Scottish Premiership (including two starts) and this goal against Celtic will hopefully prove to be the start of a better run of fortune. A player of some talent who broke through at Oxford United at a very young age – before plying his trade abroad in Belgium and Italy – we look forward to seeing Alex’s progression in the coming games.
