Full Contact client Freddie Ladapo continued his recent meteoric rise – scoring his first senior goal for Crystal Palace in last night’s pre-season fixture against AFC Wimbledon.
Following Freddie’s transfer in March from National League south club Margate – in the sixth tier of English football – to the Premier League’s Palace, the out of window move restricted Freddie to U21 action until this summer. After joining the senior squad for Palace’s pre-season tour to the US, and appearing against the likes of Vancouver Whitecaps and Philadelphia (see below) in front of large crowds, back on home shores Freddie notched his first goal for Alan Pardew’s senior side last night.
Following an excellent earlier assist, Freddie scored with a strong header as Palace ran out 3-2 winners. As the photo shows above, Freddie enjoyed the moment!
