Hot on the heels after his professional debut in the League Cup, Full Contact client Regan Charles-Cook has now made his Football League debut.
Regan, 18, entered the field of play in the 69th minute on 22nd August 2015, as Charlton beat Championship rivals Hull City 2-1. The versatile teenager played in both central midfield and right back as the Addicks scored an injury-time winner, an experience that Regan is unlikely to forget for a while; “The stadium exploded, the ground was shaking and I just saw everyone running over to the corner. We were all sprinting and it was like we had won the Champions League! It was a great three points against Hull and it was amazing. I’m completing buzzing – over the moon – to have made my debut in the league. It is such a great experience for me.”
As Regan now looks to earn more first-team opportunities, all at Full Contact wish him and the Charlton the very best for the remainder of the season.
