Seb MorrisSWIt is with great pleasure that Full Contact is able to announce that its client Seb Morris has become a member of the Sport Wales Elite Cymru scheme. Seb joins a roster of elite talent on a scheme which has been in place since 1997 providing financial and other support for rising stars from Wales as they make their way to the top of their chosen sport. Fittingly, the confirmation of his appointment arrived on St David’s Day (1st March).

Seb, from Martham, Wrexham, finished 2013 as Formula 4’s Vice Champion following up from his championship successes winning the Ginetta Junior title in 2011 and the UK Formula Renault Winter Series in 2012. Seb is currently preparing for a landmark 2014 season, as he enters European racing for the first tine, where he will race for Fortec Motorsport in the Formula Renault Northern European Cup series.

Seb commented “I am very honoured to join the Sport Wales Elite Cymru scheme and will do my utmost to justify the support as this makes a big difference to my season. I am looking forward to racing in the Northern European Cup with Fortec where I will be proud to represent my country and Sport Wales”.

Dan Chapman, senior partner of Full Contact, said “We are thrilled that Sport Wales have recognised Seb’s talent as their support will make a real difference to his season. It’s been an exciting 12 months for Seb as following his debut in Formula 4 he was then shortlisted for the McLaren Autosport Young Driver of the Year award and then signed by Caterham F1 as a member of their Young Driver Academy.  Now we look forward to the 2014 season, and testing is underway with Fortec. It is a big year ahead.

In addition to this Sport Wales appointment, Seb is an ambassador for the British fashion label Jack Wills and the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer, and part of the Caterham F1 academy.
