Full Contact client Richie Barroilhet has today signed for Conference Premier side Nuneaton Town.
Barroilhet, 21, was a scholar at Fulham and earned a pro contract at the Premier League club. In the summer of 2012, Richie signed for top flight Dutch club RKC Waalwijk but unfortunately missed almost the entire season with injury problems.
With undoubted pedigree, including representing France internationally at under-19 level, we are excited that Richie is now returning to the English game at Nuneaton Town.
Lee Payne, head of Full Contact’s player agency team, said “Richie is a player that we, and Dan in particular, has known for a number of years but the opportunity to work with him in England just did not quite present itself. Richie has been very unlucky with a number of injuries, but to his absolute credit he has worked so hard over the last six months to get himself back in to the shape he now is. The lad has demonstrated to everyone that he has the hunger and passion to make it as a professional footballer, and in respect of his talent there is no doubt that he has fantastic ability. Nuneaton Town have been bold enough to give Richie this opportunity, and I think that once he has settled in and got his match fitness back, they are going to have some player on their books.”
We wish Richie, and Nuneaton Town (who also currently have Full Contact client Freddie Ladapo on loan) all the very best.
