We are proud to announce that Full Contact has today formalised a long term contract to work with highly talented young motor racing driver Seb Morris.
Seb Morris, recently a subject of the Sky Sports series Britain’s Next F1 star, is due to commence his 2013 racing season at the end of April in the BRDC Formula 4 Championship. Racing for Hillspeed, Seb’s aim is to build on his impressive record established since he began karting competitively in 2007. By 2010, he was crowned as the youngest ever champion of the UK Junior Ginetta G40 Winter Series, which he followed in 2011 by winning the UK Junior Ginetta G40 outright. 2012 saw a big step up in level, but nonetheless he placed as the highest rookie in the Formula Renault BARC series (five wins during the season taking him to third place in the championship) before going on to be crowned champion in the Formula Renault BARC Winter Series.
Now competing in the new Formula 4 championship, Seb begins a path to his goal of arriving at Formula 1, and it is with this in mind that he and his family have chosen to work with Full Contact. Dan Chapman, senior partner, explains “I first met Seb and his father Phillip in 2012 and we have been in discussions since then about working together. I am so excited about the talent and potential that Seb has, but he and his family and existing team are acutely aware, as we are, that talent alone is not enough to succeed at the highest level in motorsport. Without securing considerable financial investment the route to Formula 1 is almost impossible to navigate and so our primary interests are in working with Seb over the long term to ensure that we can harness his talent with the investment necessary. I look forward to this partnership with Seb, who has already proven to me what a personable and genuine young man he is let alone supremely talented, but also his family and manager Andy Meyrick.”
