Full Contact client, Ivorian striker Armand Gnanduillet, has today put pen to paper and signed a two year contract with Chesterfield FC.
After signing for the League Two side in late January, Armand has made four starts (and eight appearances as a substitute) scoring on three occasions, including a wonder goal against Bristol Rovers. Despite his prior inexperience of professional football, Armand has demonstrated his raw potential to land himself a long term contract, and he looks forward to benefitting from a pre-season before relishing the prospect of playing a major part in Chesterfield’s attempt at a serious promotion challenge next season.
Lee Payne, head of Full Contact’s Football Agency, “We are very pleased that Chesterfield have chosen to contract with Armand long term. We believe that he has a tremendous amount of potential, and have been impressed with the way Paul Cook and his staff have worked with Armand since his arrival in England during January. He is a true rough diamond, but with the support and guidance that Chesterfield can now give him I am excited about seeing what he can deliver next season.”
