Full Contact client Reice Charles-Cook turned in a fantastic performance for Arsenal last night, in their crucial 4-2 win against Atletico Bilbao in the NextGen Series.
Knowing only a win would see Arsenal progress to the next stages of this prestigious competition – the Champions League of youth football – Charles-Cook pulled off a number of stunning saves to keep Arsenal in the game before they were able to pull away late in the second half and secure the required victory.
One match review in the press this morning summed up the game with “Arsenal, though, had goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook to thank for some outstanding saves to deny the threatening Bilbao attack.”
Full Contact’s Head of Football Agency Lee Payne said “Reice’s performance last night was as fine a goalkeeping performance for an 18 year old keeper as you could ever wish to see; two of his saves, at least, were simply remarkable and it followed on from a extremely good performance in the away fixture at Bilbao where Reice had kept a clean sheet and saved a penalty.”
