As the end of the football season approaches, we at Full Contact are aware that a summer of financial turmoil awaits many Clubs in the Football League and Conference.
It is feared that a number of insolvency situations will arise, with the likes of Port Vale and Porstmouth most unlikely to be the last administrations we will see in 2012; indeed, record numbers of administrations are predicted as the 2012/2013 season approaches.
The Full Contact team, headed by Dan Chapman, has experience of acting for Clubs at all levels who are encountering financial difficulties, with a proven track record of co-ordinating successful turnarounds. Dan comments: “It is often the case that the directors of Clubs leave it too late to take professional advice, and indeed when they do take advice they are calling in the insolvency practitioners. Prudent Directors of Football Clubs would be taking objective advice far earlier than that, from those experienced in dealing with all alternatives which may or may not include insolvency events.”
For any Club wishing to have a no obligation appraisal of their financial position and options, ahead of the 2012/2013 season, contact us now.
