By Dan Chapman
Paul McVeigh, the former Tottenham, Norwich City, Burnley, Luton and Northern Ireland international footballer, has joined Full Contact as our first sporting mentor.
Paul’s interests since retiring from the game have centred around supporting young footballers to maximise their potential, and he is a renowned motivational speaker. At Full Contact, Paul will be available to mentor and assist Full Contact clients and will play a key role in the development of this unique side of the business.
Commenting on the appointment, Dan Chapman said: “I am delighted to have Paul on board. When I first met with him to discuss our Full Contact concept it was immediately apparent that we shared the same values and approach to sport. I am confident that there will be few better ex-professionals to work with aspiring and existing sporting talent than Paul and over time, as we develop the Full Contact stable, he will play an important role.”
Paul commented: “I am delighted to be part of the Full Contact team, which gives me the opportunity to expand upon the mentoring and support services that I passionately believe in and are so needed by young footballers and sports people. This appointment complements extremely well my ThinkPRO initiative. From the moment I first met Dan and learnt of his vision for Full Contact I was extremely keen to be a part of it. To join at the outset of the project is very exciting.”
